This agreement between you and Hendon Taxi outlines the terms and conditions you accept when booking a taxi and utilizing our services.
In this agreement, "Hendon Taxi," "we," or "us" refers to the service provider, while "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company making a reservation with us.
2.1 You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for your journey, and ensuring timely arrival, especially for airport transfers with critical flight check-in times. Hendon Taxi is not accountable for delays resulting from your failure to allocate adequate time.
2.2 Choose a vehicle of suitable size for passengers and luggage, as we do not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. A child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Specify wheelchair access requirements when making your booking.
3.1 Quotes are based on provided information and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to adjust prices for substantial itinerary changes.
3.2 The quoted price includes a 45-minute waiting period after the designated landing time, along with airport parking charges. Exceeding this limit incurs standard Hendon Taxi waiting rates. While we adjust for flight delays, it is not obligatory.
3.3 Review the booking confirmation for accuracy upon receipt. Failure to notify errors may result in delays or additional costs for which we are not liable.
3.4 Payment can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.
4.1 You are responsible for passenger conduct. Any damage to the vehicle may result in cleaning fees.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
4.3 Restrain children appropriately based on height, weight, and age.
4.4 We adhere to passenger limits set by licensing or insurance.
5.1 Notify us promptly for cancellations. Cancellation charges apply if made after dispatch.
5.2 Online bookings may incur charges upon pre-dispatch cancellation.
6.1 While we aim for punctual arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays.
6.2 You assume risk for your luggage.
6.3 In breakdowns, we provide an alternative vehicle promptly.
6.4 You agree not to hold us liable for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any act or omission by anyone in your party.
6.5 Liability limitations apply as per applicable laws.
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking if any risk is posed by abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds are issued for terminated journeys.
8.1 We may delegate obligations. You cannot assign rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Terms and conditions may be updated; review them regularly. Existing bookings honor rates at the time of booking.
8.3 Information is handled per the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement is comprehensive.
8.5 No third-party rights are conferred unless stipulated in writing.
Disagreements or claims must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date; claims after this period will not be entertained.
